"Emeril’s Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen is a model for new experiential learning and teaching practices, with impacts far beyond Starlight Elementary. It will advance learning and create connections across our entire 19,000+ student district, benefiting our students, their families, our teachers, local employers, and the entire Pajaro Valley. We would love for you to be a part of it."
You can help build Chef Emeril Lagasse’s Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen at Starlight Elementary School, a permanent new teaching facility in the heart of Watsonville. All gifts are tax-deductible. The new kitchen and garden will be one of only five such projects in the United States, bringing powerful new learning resources to nearly 20,000 Pajaro Valley students and their families, and helping other nonprofits expand nutrition, health, and wellness education in our community.
Please join the Emeril Lagasse Foundation and the Pajaro Valley Unified School District in creating these permanent new learning resources.
UPDATE - Thanks to generous local individuals, nonprofit partners, businesses, and foundation grants, we are close to reaching our $1.4 million community fundraising goal. Will you help?
Your tax-deductible donation will help create new lessons and learning experiences to serve our children, their families, and our community for many years to come.
Your Donation is Tax-Deductible with PVUSD's Federal Tax ID #77-0375541
